About CERF

 

Chicagoland Eye & Retina Foundation (CERF) is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation, which will be organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended to advance the treatment of eye and retinal disease.


The Chicagoland Eye and Retina Foundation (CERF) will provide continuing education and continuing medical education regarding current trends and upcoming research in the fields of medical and surgical eye and retina problems and conditions. 

The goal of the CERF is to educate the public about current trends and upcoming research in the fields of medical and surgical eye and retina problems and conditions.


​ The CERF will conduct and provide support forresearch in the fields of medical and surgical eye and retina problems and conditions. As well as, provide support for charitable and missionary work related to eye care in disadvantaged communities globally and raise funds from the public and from all other sources available, receive and maintain such funds and expend principal and income there from.
